Merry Christmas, everyone! During the holidays, I try to the gift nieces and nephews with books to promote literacy, education and conversation. This year’s gifts include Amy Harmon’s Making Faces for my college-aged nieces. I chose this book because it’s about friends loving and accepting each other despite imperfections hidden an obvious. We can’t all be beautiful on the cover, it’s what’s inside the content that matters. For the boys, I chose What If?: Serious Scientific Answers to Absurd Hypothetical Questions by Randall Munroe, full of clarity and wit.  For Prime numbers, this is available through Kindle Unlimited for free. However, for gifts I still choose the physical hardcover or paperback; it’s universal and I still think nothing smells as good as those new pages under one’s fingers.

Have a blessed and peaceful time with family and friends!
